ibbi loves: Valentine’s Day

FullSizeRender-29If it’s been a dreary (and possibly dry) January, you’ll be looking for reasons to be cheerful and celebrate in February! Valentine’s Day is almost here and let’s face it, everyone loves a teeny bit of wooing. So this year, why not forget the padded card, the heaving restaurants and the stodgy soft centres in the shiny heart shaped box (tempted though you may be) and have a look at our eclectic ibbi goodies instead. Hand painted ceramics, hand woven sisal baskets, embroidered bags and belts, carved  colourful ellies and so much more! You’ll see our range is carefully sourced, usually hand crafted, beautifully vibrant (lots of reds and pinks of course for Valentine’s Day treats) AND we’re offering 15% off right now. The offer is valid until Valentine’s Day 2016, so why not check out further details on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ibbidirect) or simply head straight to http://www.ibbidirect.co.uk and use the voucher code: lovelovemedo.

Have fun browsing!

Looking For Colour?

Attachment-1-1So: according to the press, as we mentioned in our blog back in October, we’re currently abandoning our neutral palettes and throwing a casual splash more colour and pattern in to our homes. Hurrah! Vibrant cushions, richly coloured rugs and striking accessories are all selling like hot cakes and that probably goes to explain why our most utterly loved extra colourful hand painted ceramics are flying off the ibbi shelves right now. Hand crafted,  gorgeous colours and each piece unique: do get in touch if you’d like to see more of our current collection. Product sourcing service available too.

The Best Espresso

espresso cups for blog 2So first the good news: it’s summer. A time to relax a little and enjoy the sunshine. Kick off your shoes, feel the grass beneath your feet and take a good gulp of that glorious British summer air. Now the bad news: when your holiday’s over, it’s back to those early starts and the shock of having to be alert again at sunrise. So if , like us, you feel a large espresso is the only way to successfully peel back the eyelids first thing in the morning, you might like to have a quick browse at our beautiful hand painted espresso cups.  They’re from our favourite South African pottery and each unique piece is a hand crafted work of art. Just perfect for that first essential espresso. It’s definitely a very beautiful, very delicate and utterly delicious way to start your day.

The Bok Espresso Cup Range: available at http://www.ibbidirect.co.uk. £24 each plus p&p.
